Vinyl Trend: My Top Affordable Picks.

Fashion

Vinyl is everywhere at the moment and what was once reserved for the likes of lil Kim and Blac Chyna or for behind the bedroom door, has now found its way onto the catwalk and now our highstreet. Im yet to invest in a item, but Im starting to really enjoy the trend. As more and more brands bring out some gorgeous pieces I'm mulling over how I will inject some vinyl into my wardrobe. So check out my top picks.

Skirts & Pinafores

For me, this is the easiest way to add some vinyl into my life. It doesn't seem too OTT and I think there are some amazing skirts especially in the A line cut which is very on trend already. Try black for a subtle addition or go a bit more out there with a bright red. You could go classic PVC/vinyl look with a skin tight look or try something a little more edgy like the floaty skirt on the right.

Pink Vinyl

Vinyl in pink is what inspired me to write this post because I think its just so darn cute and different!!! Its unexpectedly cute and girly for a fabric that has been associated with sexiness and all things dominatrix. I really love that pink mini skirt, but you could try it in a crop top or jacket. Id definitely style the pink mini skirt with either a white jumper for a dressed down look or a fluffy pink cropped jumper or coat for a really girly barbie look.

Coats and Accesories:

Vinyl coats can be found on mass on the high street right now and I really do think this is a great investment piece. Vinyl trench coats are perfect for the winter months and coats are the absolute easiest way to keep your wardrobe on trend and on point. Who cares what you're wearing underneath, pyjamas, frayed old leggings or even completely naked! Rock that vinyl coat et voila you're on trend. Or if you're still not sure about wearing a whole item of clothing in vinyl, try a subtle addition in the form of an accessory. Im in LOVE with berets at the moment and hey if you can get it in vinyl... WHY NOT!?
